The cross-national hotel co-operation started in 2009 and caused excitement in the market. Demand exceeded all expectations and reports covered over 100 pages in magazines in 4 countries.
For the first time, hotels and regions in the Alps turned their focus towards cyclists.
Encouraged by this success, the group was expanded for the 2010 season from 24 to 40 hotels and from 10 to 17 regions.
South Tyrol and its regions Eisacktal and Kronplatz–Alta Badia, Trentino and its region Lagorai, Carinthia and its region Nockberge, the Tyrolean region Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, Styria and its region around Schladming, Salzburg and its Salzburger Sportwelt - all those new regions combined with the already established member regions and hotels show great promise for Roadbike Holidays in the summer 2010! |
